On January 20th, 2010 the MonWHO secretariat hosted a talk “Recognizing Pandemics: Public Health in an Interconnected World” by Dr. Timothy Brewer, Head of the McGill Global Health Programs, examining how the World Health Organization is facing recent pandemics. The following is a recording of the event, which will be extremely useful to delegates as they prepare for the MonWHO conference of March 5th-7th, 2010.

The following is a debate by award-winning members of the McGill Debating Union held during our event on January 20th, 2010 tackling the resolution: “This House would allow the WHO to close borders during a Pandemic“.

The Secretariat will be hosting a welcoming session at Montreal’s beloved micro-brewery, Brutopia (1215 Crescent Street), this Thursday, March 4th at 7:00PM. Come share some nibbles and drinks (on us) and meet fellow delegates! A car shuttle will be available for guests staying at the hotel starting from 6:45PM.
